As an educator, I value the importance of development in the early years. Age does not always directly correlate to a tiny human’s sensorimotor skills, so we have divided up the age groupings by stage of development:

Itty Bitty Babies (newborns, cute little potato phase)

Babies (rolling around, sitting, crawling)

Senior Babies (crawling, walking, toddling)

Waddlers (full on moving, cruising, living their best lives)

Big Kids/Siblings (the not so tiny tiny humans that are suddenly impossible to keep track of!)
